    Mount Otemanu, also known as Otemanu Peak, is an extinct volcano located on the island of Bora Bora in French Polynesia. It stands at 727 meters (2,385 feet) tall, making it the highest point on the island. Mount Otemanu is a popular tourist destination for hiking and climbing, and offers spectacular views of the Bora Bora Lagoon.

    Mount Otemanu is an old volcano that last erupted about 2 million years ago. It was formed by a hotspot in the Earth’s crust. Over time, the volcano eroded, leaving behind a rugged mountain.

    Mount Otemanu is composed of basaltic rocks. The soil is thin and rocky, and the vegetation is sparse. The climate on Mount Otemanu is tropical, with hot and humid temperatures year-round. Rainfall is abundant, especially during the rainy season, which runs from November to April.
